The Ministry of Health announced that during the last 24 hours (03.10.2020) 152 people were affected by COVID-19, while 3 patients have died.
194 citizens have recovered bringing to 8536 the number of the healed in the country since the beginning of the epidemic.
Positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours have been identified in the following municipalities: 45 cases in Tirana, 20 in Korça, 9 in Shkodra, 8 cases each in Vlora, Pogradec, 7 in Kavaja, 6 cases in Fier, Berat, 5 in Durrës, 4 in Lushnje, 3 cases each in Puka, Mirditë, Përmet, Skrapar, 2 cases in Lezhë, Tropojë, Mat, Gjirokastër, Divjakë, Dibër, Kolonjë, 1 case each in Krujë, Kurbin, Devoll, Rrogozhinë, Ura Vajgurore, Malësi e Madhe, Bulqiza, Kuçova.
Currently, 200 patients are being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital and “Shefqet Ndroqi”, 24 of which in intensive therapy.
In the last 24 hours, a 56-year-old man from Tirana, a 63-year-old man from Bulqiza, a 67-year-old man from Klosi have passed away.
The Ministry of Health has appealed to all citizens to call the National Emergency immediately if they have signs of COVID.
“The Ministry of Health calls on citizens that in case you suspect that you are affected by Covid19 and have signs of the disease, immediately call the National Emergency number 127 or the free line 0800 40 40 to contact your family doctor.
