Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has announced that during the last 24 hours, 3 people who had been suffering from Covid-19 infection for several days, have lost their lives.
A 47-year-old teacher from Pogradec, without concomitant illnesses, after 12 days in intensive therapy at Shefqet Ndroqi Hospital, lost the battle with COVID-19.
A 78-year-old man from Fier and an 87-year-old man from Gramshi also have lost their lives in the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of doctors and nurses.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows: 56 cases in Tirana, 11 cases in Shkodra, 10 cases in Durres, Korca, Lushnje, 8 cases in Kurbin, 7 cases in Kruja, Fier, Kavaja, 6 cases in Lezha, 5 cases in Elbasan, Vlora, 4 cases in Gramsh, 3 cases in Kukës, Mat, Gjirokastër, 2 cases in Berat, Kamëz, 1 case each in Has, Pogradec, Ura Vajgurore, Vau i Dejës, Bulqiza.
