15 kg of marijuana seized in Kakavija

The Kakavija Border Police announced the arrest of a person and the
seizing of 15.4 kg of Marijuana, the destination of which was Greece.
The narcotic substance was found in a car, and the driver, Ervis Myrtaj from Fier, was arrested on the spot. The drug was taken in Patos and was about the be sent to Iannina, while the Gjirokaster Police notified the Greek homologues to arrest the person that was waiting for the drug.
Police explained that Myrtaj used his car as a taxi in the Fier-Athens line.
One other person was arrested and two are wanted by the police, after a anti-drug operation launched by the Tirana Police this Sunday.
The 25 year old Alfred Allajbeu was arrested in a Fortuzi Street bar, after he was found in possession of 600 grams of pure heroine.
Allajbeu was part of a criminal group that trafficked drug around the Ahmet Zogu I boulevard.
