More than 1000 police officers have temporarily moved to Albania’s coastline with the purpose to reinforce security measures during the tourist season.
This move is necessary since regional police precincts cannot cover a large number of holidaymakers.
Increasing measures also aims to guarantee more security for visitors, Albanian and foreigners, since there have been unpleasant incidents in the past.
The State Police is distributing fliers with advice for tourists, in Albanian and English.
