The Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj, attended a hearing session with a group of German MPs, headed by Florian Hahn, part of the Commission for European Members.
Hahn appreciated the presence of the Albanian delegation in a time when the German Parliament is yet to decide whether Albania deserves opening the EU accession negotiations this June.
The Justice Minister updated the present politicians with the important reforming processes that Albania has undertaken, especially with the Judicial Reform, Fight against Corruption and Organized Crime, etc.
The Minister noted that the recommendation of the European Commission for opening the accession negotiations confirms Albania’s achievements so far, taking in consideration Albania’s deep reforms.
