EP President, EU ready to help rebuild Albanian buildings destroyed by earthquake

The President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli, has reacted regarding the situation created in Albania after a series of earthquakes.

After expressing his support to the people of Albania, Sassoli underlined that Europe is ready to help to rebuild the damage caused by the earthquakes.

“In these difficult hours, we are close to the people fo Albania. Our thoughts are to those who were injured and who lost their homes. Europe is ready to help with the reconstruction”, he wrote.

Supportive messages also came from other EU institutions and European countries.
