Many betting shops are being closed in Durres as well, before the government’s deadline, January 1st.
Due to the uncontrolled and excessive number of betting shops, and the negative effect on the social life, the government issued an order to close all of them by January 1st 2019.
Many families in Durres have been suffering from gambling addictions. This has made citizens welcome the crackdown.
However, it is still unclear how the procedure will be completed.
