Bad fuel is damaging cars in Albania

Fuel price in Albania is the same as in France, and more expensive than in neighbouring countries. The reasons are the higher taxes on fuels. But the cost to the Albanian people is much higher than the French, and that’s because of the bad quality of fuels.
Business who supply fuel to our country say that it is not true, but those who drive cars can tell the difference.
“We have to go to service cars very often, due to the bad quality of oil. I paid 51.000 ALL (500 USD) for cleaning my car”, one taxi driver says.
Many car services in Tirana say that bad fuel is causing engines to fail much earlier than they are due.
