The Former Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, gave a very brief
comment after the Prosecution of Serious Crimes requested to remove his
immunity.
“You haven’t seen anything yet”, he told journalists after leaving his home.
After a joint investigation between Albania and Italy, the Prosecution of Serious crimes asked the Parliament’s authorization to remove the immunity of the former Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, currently MP of the Socialist Party.
Removing the immunity means that the Prosecution will be free to ask the Court of Serious Crimes for the former Minister’s arrest.
The Prosecution has started an investigation, while reserved sources said for Top Channel that two important documents have arrived yesterday in Tirana, which have decided the Prosecution’s request against Saimir Tahiri.
