The case of the Catania Court, in which an Italian-Albanian gang
mentions former Minister Saimir Tahiri, will be attached to a single
case in Albania, which will investigate the Habilaj brothers.

For this reason, a special task force has been created, made of three Serious Crimes Prosecutors, and Italian prosecutor from Lecce.

Prosecutor Vladimir Mara is investigating the Treblova case, in which police seized 23 tons of cannabis. Prosecutors Perparim Kulluri and Pranvera Hoxha are part of a task force which is investigating the sophisticated way how the group operated, and how they communicated with each other to share their duties.

“One week ago, the Prosecution of Serious Crimes concluded investigations for a group of traffickers, including a police officer on the run. The Prosecution is investigating the Habilaj brothers separately, who are suspected to be owners of these parcels in Treblova and Vezhdnanisht, which were destroyed in 2016”, reports the journalist of Top Channel, Anila Hoxha.

Two persons are wanted by the police for the operation held in Italy. In the meanwhile, the case goes beyond the cultivation of cannabis. Prosecutors are also investigating a file of the Italian Guardia di Finanza, with detailed reports from the flight missions of 2016.
