The project for including small businesses in the VAT system took the
first legal hit, as the Supreme Court ruled in favor of a request made
by the Chamber of Advocates, who oppose their inclusion in the VAT
scheme.
Lawyers say that this verdict can be used by other professions as well, since this one was for advocates only.
Lawyer Jordan Daci says that the government should keep this court verdict in mind when preparing the new fiscal package, otherwise this government decision could be challenged at the Constitutional Court.
