The Bank of Albania Governor, Gent Sejko, attended the international
conference organized by the Central Bank of Bosnia Herzegovina, with the
topic: “20 years of stability”.
The conference was attended by high-level local and international officials; governors and representatives of central banks from Europe and Balkan; lawmakers and EU experts.
Sejko presented Albania’s progress with the European integration process and the challenges our country faces, focusing on some key moments of the convergency.
The Bank of Albania Governor added that the economic and political future of the Southeastern European country is directly tied to their EU integration process.
He also underlined that a healthy financial and efficient market is a necessary pre-condition for a long-term economic growth, and an important factor in the convergency process.
