The UN Assembly is being held in New York, focusing on conflicts around the world and how the UN can reform to better face them.
In this context, the Foreign Minister of Albania, Ditmir Bushati, expressed Albania’s support to the initiative undertaken by the US administration.
“The current security situation in the world, with more than 20 delicate conflicts with direct consequences on humanity, and the need of the UN to reform, are the main topics of the Assembly. Albania has supported the USA government for reforming the organization and focusing it on the people and needs they have throughout the world, not necessarily on its processes, as a counter-response to bureaucracies that sometimes are rather horrible”, Bushati declared.
The Foreign Minister al valued the orientation of the Albanian government for ending bureaucracies in Albanian institutions as well.
“I am happy that the government of Prime Minister Rama is in such harmonious accordance as regards bureaucracies and how to reduce them, something that the UN itself wants to realize in a near future”, Bushati declared.
