The Deputy Serbian Prime Minister, Zorana Mihaljovic, has been quoted of
expecting the Serbian Orthodox Church to be part of the internal
dialogue for Kosovo, without pressuring President Vucic.

“I hope that a new dialogue phase, on which Vucic will hold talks with all important institutions and specific individuals, brings to the approval of a new policy”, the Serbian official declared.

“I expect the Orthodox church, part of our culture and of our people for hundreds of years, becomes a good partner and help establish a new dialogue between Serbs and Albanians”.

“I also expect for them to not pressure the president before starting talks about Kosovo”, the Deputy PM said.

Mihaljovic added that all former governments have done nothing more than pushing Kosovo farther from Serbia. “For this reason, we need a new, more rational and wiser approach, which will be implemented by President Vucc and the Serbian government”.
