The Berat Police say they have taken all measures to guarantee safety during the pilgrimage at the Tomorr Mountain.
More officers will be present in all roads to keep the flux of vehicles under control. Heavy vehicles that transport large stone slabs will not be allowed until the pilgrimage is over.
Thousands believers gather each year at the Holy Place of the Tomorr Mountain, near the Kulmak Peak. Pilgrims come from all over Albania and even from abroad. They raise tents, visit the holy sites and respect the Bektashi rituals.
