Serbian President, Alexandar Vucic, seems decided to keep the promise given at the latest meeting in Brussels, regarding Kosovo.

Vucic said for Serbian newspaper Blic that Serbia must start an internal dialogue for Kosovo, to not leave a burden to the next generations.

“It is time for us as a people to not behave like ostriches and hide our head to the sand. We need to be realistic and not allow to hand over what we have. But we must stand and wait to have in our hands what we have already lost time ago”, Vucic said.

The Serbian President quoted Shimon Perez, who said about the dialogue with Palestine: “Imagine what would happen if we don’t do this”.

Vucic said that when needed to hold a stance regarding the internal dialogue with Kosovo, he would say: “Imagine what would happen if we all stay silent and interrupt talks”.

“Since 1878. Since the so-called Prizren League, Serbs have not wanted to be responsible enough and understand the power of this desire of Albanians”, Vucic said.
