US State Department values cooperation with Albania for war on terror

The US State Department published the report about terrorism for 2016,
in whichthey value the contribution of Albania against this phenomenon.
“Albania has been a strong supporter of the fight against terror in 2016, and ensued their participation in the ranks of the Global Coalition for defeating ISIS, making several donations of arms and ammunition”, the report says.
The official document quotes November 4th and 5th of the past year, when a well-coordinated operation on a regional level led to the arrest of four individuals in Albania.
“The operation prevented a potential terror attack that would have taken place during the Albania-Israel qualification match for the Football World Cup”, the report says.
The US State Department notes that the suspects were accused of providing ISIS with financial and logistic support, helping them to recruit fighters and promote hate speeches.
