The Democratic Party of Albania will run alone in the June 25th elections, as announced by sources from inside the opposition.
This development took place recently, but it seems that the negotiations between Basha and Mediu weren’t concluded with an agreement.
Non-official sources say that the Republicans have requested two safe spots in the list of Democrats, but Basha has not accepted.
The Republicans remain the main ally of the Democratic Party. In the past elections they received 55.000 votes throughout Albania.
