Rama meets Trump at NATO Summit

Sources from the Prime Minister’s Office confirm there was a short
meeting between Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and US President Donald
Trump, during the NATO summit held in Brussels behind closed doors.

The discussion focused on the strategic alliance between Albania and the USA, the judiciary reform and the joint fight against violent extremism.

This meeting was confirmed by the Republican Florida congressman, Matt Gaetz, who said in a letter he was happy for the meeting between both leaders. The congressman was part of the delegation that visited Tirana one month ago, and said he congratulates the Prime Minister for the reforms.
