German Ambassador: “We will recognize elections even without DP”

The German Ambassador to Tirana declared that Germany will recognize the
June 18th elections in Albania even if the Democratic Party doesn’t
participate.
“As declared by the German Foreign Minister two weeks ago, we hope that the elections can be held on the date decreed by the President. We hope to have the participation of as many political parties as possible. If the Democratic Party and other opposition parties will not participate, that will be a sad decision for us. But we will recognize the elections”, declared the German Ambassador, Susanne Schutz.
