Haradinaj cheered back in Kosovo: “Albanians will not be subdued by Serbia”

Former Kosovo PM and KLA commander, Ramush Haradinaj, was cheered this
evening on his return to Kosovo, after waiting for four months in
Colmar, France, where he was held in probation due to a Serbian arrest
order for war crimes, although he had been acquitted by the Court of
Hague.

Today, after the French court rejected the Serbian request, he arrived in Prishtina’s main square among many supporters.

His message to Serbia was that Belgrade has no more place in Kosovo:

“If people in Belgrade think that Albanians will be quick to forget, they are wrong. Albanians never forget. Albanians are a clean, freedom-loving and peace-seeking people. But you cannot subdue Albanians, as Milosevic tried to do by taking 500.000 Albanians in their prisons. 20.000 were killed, and nobody could subdue them. We must show our enemy (Serbia) their place the same way Croatia did. There’s no place for them in Kosovo and among Albanians”, said Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and former Prime Minister.
