Macedonia has finally a new Parliament Speaker, and for the first time in its history, he is Albanian.
Talat Xhaferri was elected with the votes of the new majority, made of Zaev’s LSDM, Ali Ahmeti’s BDI and “Alliance for Albanians”.
The first one to congratulate him was the LSDM leader himself, Zoran Zaev.
The VMRO-DPMNE Parliament Members blocked the podium, but the new majority didn’t leave the Parliament. They asked Trajko to start the voting procedure.
Zaev was present today in the Parliament floor, but not Gruevski and Ahmeti.
