The Court of Colmar in France has released the former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj.

The request of Serbian authorities to extradite former Kosovo Liberation Army commander, whom the Serbian Prosecution had accused of war crimes, was not accepted.

The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo was held on Probation since January, when he was detained based on a Serbian arrest order.

The court session in Colmar was held under high-level security protocol.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci wrote on Facebook that this is a good news for the Haradinaj family, for his collaborators and all Kosovo.

“It was proven once again that the lies of the Serbian services against the Kosovo Liberation Army are not founded, cannot be taken into consideration by the democratic world”, Thaci wrote on Facebook.
