The project for the Vlore seaside promenade is expected to be complete
by May. This is the promise received by the Chief of Operations at the
EU Delegation in Albania.
After inspecting the works, he met this Monday with the Mayor of Vlore, Dritan Leli, and the construction firm.
“There is progress, but it needs to be monitored. This is the purpose of my visit today.W e agreed with the contractor that works must be completed by May. I am here to see if this will happen. It is not easy, but it is important. And we believe that this project will create many opportunities for citizens and tourists. We hope it will be over before the tourist season starts”, said Ynge Engstrom.
The EU Ambassador, Romana Vlahutin, had been promised one year ago that the works would be over by April.
