Ruci answers to Basha: “OK for a people-elected President, but for the next mandate”

The leader of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Gramoz Ruci,
declared that he agrees with the proposition of the opposition to have
the President elected by the people, but not for this term.
For Ruci, the game has already began and the rounds for the selection of the next president are already being held. Albania will have a President on July 24th.
“We are ready to discuss a president elected by the people for the next five years. We can amend the Constitution for this, but only for the next mandate. Even in football you cannot change the rules in the middle of the game”, Ruci said.
