Agreement reached in Macedonia, Parliament Speaker will be Albanian

For the first time since the independence of the Republic of Macedonia, an Albanian will hold the position of Parliament Speaker. The news of an agreement between the Democratic Union for Integraton and socialdemocrats of Zoran Zaev was announced by chief of staff of DUI Artan Grubi.
He also informed the new Parliament will begin procedures on Monday after it has not gathered since December 30th, 2016. Regional media write that different sources confirm the name of the new Speaker, who will be Talat Xhaferi.
After increasing presion from the international partners to form institututions, Albanians from UDI and Macedonians from SDSM finally decided to overpass President Ivanonv who refused to mandate the new government.
