PM Rama: “By blocking judiciary reform, what suffers more is our EU integration”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, reiterated the words of the EU
Ambassador to Albania, Romana Vlahutin, about the consequences caused by
delays to the judiciary reform.

Rama said that the people who built this corrupted judiciary system, are interested to keep it unchanged. This is why their resistance is so vicious.

The Albanian Prime Minister said that the biggest damage made to Albania by these delays is not just the blocking of the EU integration, but the reforms that get our country closer to the EU will also be blocked.

“This is the only way to guarantee that  no court will come at your door tomorrow, telling you that your home belongs to them. If the vetting law doesn’t get done, the EU integration is blocked”, Rama said.
