The former Croatian President, Stipe Mesic, attended a visit in Kosovo
where he met with high representatives of the Alliance for the Future of
Kosovo, the party of Ramush Haradinaj, including vice leader Ardian
Gjini.

Gjini updated the former Croatian president with the Haradinaj’s situation, who is waiting for the French court to issue a verdict regarding his arrest, triggered by an old Serbian arrest-order, who recently also request his extradition.

“This visit honors us, especially when our party leader is still not here. We are receiving a huge moral support from President Mesic. We remember the support of Croatia when Mesic was president. He is our friend, and we remain friends of Mesic and Croatia”, Gjini said.

Stipe Mesic said that his visit at the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo meeting was to get updated about the situation of Ramush Haradinaj.

“I was updated with the political matters in Kosovo, economic matters and everything else that has been taking place recently. I was also updated for my close friend, Ramush Haradinaj and his situation. I am convinced that he will soon be back to Kosovo”, Mesic said.

The former Croatian President met yesterday in Prishtina with Prime Minister Isa Mustafa. Haradinaj’s party had visits from Albanian PM Edi Rama and Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta.
