The EU High Representative of Foreign Policy and Security, Federica
Mogherini, will travel to Balkan from March 1st to March 4th.
The EU chief diplomat will visit Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and FYROM.
Before this visit, Mogherini, who is also Vice President of the European Commission, said that for the EU, Western Balkan, which is in the heart of Europe, will always be priority.
“I work to see every partner of ours in Balkan to progress towards the EU through reforms, to make sure that the process will be definitive.
Regional cooperation and good neighboring will remain an essential element. During her visit in Balkan, Mogherini will meet with authorities that include government representatives, political party leaders and Parliament Speakers.
On her return, Mogherini will update the Foreign Ministers of the EU on the results of her meetings.
