EU supports Vlahutin, Kocijancic: “No more slanders on local media”

The EU spokesperson for Foreign Policy and Security, Maja Kocijancic,
said the slanders published in some Albanian media against the EU
delegation and Ambassador Romana Vlahutin were regrettable.
“The EU has full confidence and completely supports the Ambassador and her team for the dedication and professionalism shown. The delegation will continue to work in full coordination with the EU institutions, and will accompany Albania with these difficult reforms that will establish the rule of law, a stable and trusted judiciary which the Albanian citizens want and deserve”, Kocijancic said.
The declaration concludes by mentioning that “Albania is a EU candidate, which, according to the report of November 2016, is making progress towards the EU, and we will support this pace”, the Spokesperson declared.
