Snow precipitations were verified today throughout Albania. The Llogara
tourist area was blocked in south on the national axes that connects
Vlora with Himara, from Dukat to Palasa.
Local police has established road blocks to stop vehicles without tire chains, while the areas of Kukes, Shkoder, Dibra, Elbasan and Korca remain affected by the bad weather.
Civil emergency workers are working on terrain, while Prime Minister Rama visited Tamara, Shkoder, where authorities are distributing aid to local residents.
“There are many difficulties, but we will continue, step by step. Despite the difficulties caused by the weather, this year has had the fewest power outages for the past 25 years, especially in the most difficult areas”, he said.
