Helicopters drop aid packages to isolated areas
The Armed Forces have used helicopters to distribute food, covers and clothes for areas isolated by the snow, mainly in Northern Albania.

Top Channel’s camera was onboard with one of the helicopters, which dropped aid packages near the Lura area.

It was impossible for the helicopter to land, due to the difficult atmospheric conditions. The packages were dropped while the helicopter was hovering above.

The aid packages were distributed to Arren and Kalis, Kukes, and to Vermosh. The helicopter unit is ready for any emergency in these cold days, not only for distributing aid packages, but also to move people who need medical assistance.
