Italy passed law against call centers outside the EU

The Italian senate has finally approved the Budget law with 166 votes in
favor, 70 against and 1 abstaining, in a record time. This law ban
force call centers from operating outside the EU.

This was the step that the senate had asked PM Matteo Renzi to do before leaving power.

This law will affect Albania, where 25.000 people are employed in call centers.

Call Center associations also say that the law will not take jobs back to Italy, but they will move to Romania, since they can only force companies to not operate outside the EU.
