Energy Distribution sues 9 construction companies for damaging network

The energy distribution network was damaged by constructions realized by
several public maintenance companies. Now, the Energy Distribution
Operator (OSHEE) has sued several of them, but the Prosecution has not
started any investigation.
The most affected city is Tirana, where the OSHEE is committed to complete the entire documentation, so that authorities can start investigations.
“Companies must not start working without getting updated to our distribution network, which is available at the regional directory. They must require assistance from our technicians who know about the coverage”, said Klevis Jahaj, Chief of the Regional Directory.
Companies have often caused power interruptions for citizens and financial damage for OSHEE.
