Vetting law divides Prosecutors

The meeting of prosecutors, who were notified earlier that they should
meet on November 5th to decide about the Vetting law, was suddenly
canceled.
The Union notified the members that the meeting would not be held this Saturday, but other sources added that this happened because voters have not found common ground about what stance they should keep regarding this voting.
From 360 Prosecutors in total, most have voted against sending the Vetting law at the Constitutional Court for a review. Only 130 of them, many young magistrates among them, are in favor of leaving it up to the Constitutional Court.
According to them, this legal vacuum has created a stalemate for the open current cases.
The Vetting law has been suspended by the Constitutional Court for going against the European Convention of Human Rights.
The law has also suspended the justice reform until there is an opinion from the Venice Commission.
