Arab businessman withdraws 450 million EUR project after physical attack

Omnix Albania, the company that would invest 450 million EUR in Lalez,
withdrew from Albania 10 days after their President, Fadi Mitri, was
physically violated by unidentified persons who threatened him to leave
Albania.
“This criminal act ruined the efforts of Omnix Albania for building a 450 million USD tourist complex in lalez”, the declaration says.
The tourist project approved just two months ago at the National Council of Territory foresaw the building of a giant resort that would employ 1200 people by 2018. Omnix say that the project would transform Albaniua into one of the major tourist destinations in Balkan, and would increase the country’s economic growth.
The company thanked the government of Albania for caring about the family of Mr.Mitri in these difficult moments.
