Football under investigation after UEFA report on “Skenderbeu” scandal

The Prosecution of Tirana filed a criminal report for the “Skenderbeu”
case, which will be investigated by the Task Force Unit, regarding match
fixing accusations.

UEFA published a report from their Commission of Ethics and Discipline a few days ago, which accused Skenderbeu of having manipulated more than 50 matches, 41 of which in Albania.

The UEFA report said that the integrity of the former Minister of Finances, Ridvan Bode, was questioned especially after the privatization of the National Lottery and the invesetigation for hiding the national debt.

The same report underlined that Ardjan Takaj, man without precedents, was the center of the plot, since he had direct connections with the betting companies.
