A Court in Vlora sentenced 20 days in prison as custody measure for Fatmir Kuçi, main suspect in the death of a Russian tourist in Himara some days ago. The decision is ten days shorter as 30 days time demanded by the Prosecutor.

They asked the defendant remained in prison until legal expertise on his speedboat finished, in order define it was him who hit the tourist or not. Prosecutor has the testimony of three people to sustain its claims, including that of the defendant’s son, who confirms seeing his father pulling up an injured person from the water and then was asked to call an ambulance.

Prosecutors are also investigatin 4 border police officers in Himara who accuses of power abuse, because Kuçi dit not have permission to sail with that speedboat and yet no one stopped him.
