The players of the Albanian National Football team will be rewarded with
a symbolic prize, diplomatic passports, after they won against Romania
in France.
Albania scored the first goal in a major tournament with Armando Sadiku, winning over Romania in Lyon.
“They are ambassadors without passports and the Prime Minister will give one to each of them”, said the Head of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka.
Fans from Tirana to Prishtina started celebrating on the streets and main squares with red and blcak flags. The Financial reward of UEFA will also be distributed among players, who will also receive 1 million EUR from the Albanian government.
