There are more than 10.000 unsold apartments throughout the country, due
to wrong investments. But builders say that they solution might be
having the government buy them for social homes.
Arben Dervishi, from the Association of Builders, said that there are plenty of unsold apartments in the suburbs of Tirana, Golem, Vlore, and the demand has also changed.
“People are ready to pay more for better quality and higher safety”, Dervishi said.
But what would be the solution? Builders want the government to be involved for turning these apartments into social residences.
