Shullazi, “owner” of Durres. Other extortions revealed

Emiljano Shullazi will face the Court of Serious Crimes for six counts,
including being part of a structured criminal group, extortion, drug
traffic, property destruction with explosive, threats to public
officials and illegal arm possession.

The session in which the Prosecution demands their arrest in prison was postponed to Wednesday at 08:30. The case was postponed because the Prosecutor and the Judge were busy with another process.

Top Channel has learned that the Prosecution of Serious Crimes are accused of threatening to take the wealth of four known businessmen.

According to the Prosecution, the three suspects were trying to privatize the sportive park in Durres through threats. The suspects have registered the former Vollga hotel, since it had problems wit the documentation. They are suspected of sing violence against the Chief Registrar of Durres and two employees of the Registrar’s Office in Durres and Tirane.

While there has been no report for the above-mentioned suspicions, the Prosecution is referred to the testimony of Jani Zaka and Mitri Prifti, who have been threatened for their property, a 1200 meter parking space in Tirana. The Prosecution says that after these threats, Jani Zaka has left Albania and his whereabouts remain unknown.

This group of people, according to the Prosecution, have cooperated with other organzied Albanians and foreigners to traffic drugs to the EU.

“I will demand the liberation of Emiljano Shullazi. There is no evidence for their arrest”, declared Shullazi’s lawyer, Arjan Qafa.
