The Socialist Movement for Integration is reserved about the draft
proposed by the experts of the majority for the justice reform, and this
was confirmed through MP Silva Caka.
Caka was on a press release after Ilir Meta met with the Justice Minister, his predecessor and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for National Security.
Caka said that SMI invites all political parties to contribute in this process, and said that SMI would start presenting tomorrow its own thoughts for improving the justice reform.
This has apparently been the matter discussed with Prime Minister Rama and Parliament Speaker Meta during these two days.
The vote of the SMI is decisive for the majority, and this might have been the reason that the EU ambassador, Romana Vlahutin, visited Ilir Meta right after Edi Rama. The US Ambassador has also had a phone call with the SMI leader.
The SP expects the draft to receive green light from the Commission this Friday, and the different stances will be confronted after the two Venice experts will arrive to Tirana on January 21st and 22nd.
