There are 400 cases of corruption and of criminal group activities at
the Prosecution General. For this reason, this institution has decided
to enlarge the staff with five Prosecutors.

One expert from the OPDAT mission of the US will be attached to this unit, to offer direct expertise on international criminal cases and audit of assets.

“The Task-Force Unit of the Serious Crimes has the support of a large number of Prosecutors, the specialized expertise of OPDAT, and local specialists. For this reason, I ask the Prosecutors of the Anti-Corruption Unit at the Prosecution of Serious Crimes to finalize the corruption procedures and audit of assets, and continue with the cases they have started recently”, Llalla said during a meeting with the new Prosecutors at the Serious Crimes Prosecution.
