The 41-year-old Arta Marku graduated from the Magistrate School in 2001. One year later she was appointed at the Shkoder Prosecution, where she held various duties from 2006 to 2016.
Marku started her career when Chief Prosecutor of Shkoder was Ulsi Manja, but she has not managed many cases.
One of them is the case against Professor Fran Qafa, who was found not guilty by the court.
Marku was asked by the members of the Commission of Laws for the low number of cases that she had worked with. She answered that she had signed many cases investigated by her colleagues and then sent to the Court.
Marku has a modest wealth of one apartment of 55 square meters, and another one taken through a mortgage in 2007.
