Vucic: “Compromise with Albanians, vital for Serbia”

On the 10th anniversary of independence, the President of Serbia, Alexandar Vucic, declared that compromise with Albanians is of vital interest for Serbia and the Serbian people.
“We need to keep in mind that this is about compromise, not for withdrawing”, he underlined, adding that the position of Serbia is very difficult.
“We are facing the difficulties of a battle held against the great powers. We are not fighting against Prishtina and their political representatives. Against us, however, there is Prishtina, Washington and London”, the Serbian President declared.
According to Vucic, USA, Britain and their allies are pressuring countries to not withdraw the recognition of Kosovo’s independence, while asking others who haven’t done so to join the rest.
