USA supports the presidents of Serbia and Kosovo and their effort to find a peaceful solution, and they also support the stance held by the EU Foreign Representative, Federica Mogherini.

The US Ambassador to Belgrade, Kyle Scott, said that there are several issues in Balkan, such as the name of Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina’s existence as a state, besides the Kosovo-Serbia issue, which can all be resolved.

The US Ambassador in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Moureen Cormack, said that the USA support the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, and that it would have no similarity to the situation in Bosnia and its Serbian Republic.

Many analysts say that border changes between Kosovo and Serbia would serve as a precedent for Bosnia as well. The idea of changing borders has been proponed by Thaci and Vucic as a possible solution that could offer a peaceful agreement.

The USA have underlined that they would support a solution, but Germany and the Great Britain have both been skeptic. The EU Foreign Representative, however, says that every solution is acceptable as long as it respects international laws.
