The Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, Philip Reeker, says that Washington is not proud with Albanians due to the recent political crisis.
Reeker was questioned about Albania by the Voice of America, during a forum organized by the Atlantic Council in Washington.
He asked the political class to work within the institutions, and if these don’t work properly, they will be changed only through constitutional means.
As for the Kosovo-Serbia conflict, Reeker said that the USA are ready to help, but the parties must not wait for the others to decide for them.
