US Embassy, new video explaining SPAC

The US Embassy has posted a Facebook video, explaining the activity of the Special Prosecution Agaisnt Corruption, which will be an independent institution and will investigate the highest levels of corruption.

“In our previous video, you learned about the Constitutional Court. This week, we will talk about the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime, or SPAK for short. Why do we need the SPAK and how will this institution prosecute cases of corruption at the highest levels? Learn how SPAK will be an independent, non-politicized body that will investigate and prosecute all the “untouchables” of Albania, including current and former high-level officials”, the announcement says.
