The US Congressman and friends of Albanians, Elliot Engel, was voted again at the House of Representatives, for District 16 in New York, which covers some parts of Bronx and Westchester.
Engel, a Democratic Party member, said in an interview that these elections were very important for his party’s efforts to gain the majority in Congress, which would help to stop Trump’s agenda.
Engel has been a member of the Foreign Commission Committee at the US Congress. He has visited Albania and Kosovo several times and has often expressed his closeness to the Albanian people.
