US Ambassador Donald Lu: “If parties want electronic voting, must start it now”

The US Ambassador, Donald Lu, spoke today about the usage of technology in the elections. He said that the opposition and majority should be involved in these discussions.
“If you want electronic voting in 2019, you should not wait until next summer, because it will be a failure”, Lu said.
The US Ambassador said that voters have more trust on a process with electronic voting.
“Technology in elections eliminates problems with papers. We are ready to support this work in every aspect”, the Ambassador said.
